Miss Naiya Marcelo and Syndee went LIVE on Iconici Weekly Radio last night at 10:00pm mountain time with special guest Chilltown TV creator Leesa Dean. Chilltown is a wild, hip-hop oriented animated comedy web series! Chilltown revolves around the lives and misadventures of three underground hip-hop heads (G, Marv, and Plad) Added in the mix, G's wannabe mogul cousin K Deuce and Lele, K Deuce's girl. Designed, at times, to skewer pop & rap culture, many of the episodes center around the music biz.

Lele's Ratchet Advice Show, a Chilltown spin-off, is a crazy animated parody of dating advice shows, hip-hop style! Lele keeps it real!

Mariah Carey's Glam

Mariah Carey took the stage on American Idol last night for the finale looking absolutely stunning! Her performance was on point as she sang a variety of some of her most famous hits through out the years like: 'Hero', 'Vision of Love', 'Make It Happen', 'My All', and 'We Belong Together', ending it with her latest single 'Beautiful'. I have to say the diva still has it! She has the voice and the look! 







 
White seems to be a popular color and trend of some celebrities and their fashion choices. It's no secret the diva loves white, seriously she has allegedly asked for 20 white kittens, 100 doves, two dozen white roses and vanilla (white) aromatherapy candles on a previous rider. Whether this is a hoax to see if the venues are reading the riders or not those were items that stood out! Syndee and I have talked a lot about the celebrity riders on Iconici Weekly Radio and we even came up with our own a couple weeks ago on our Fashion and Entertainment Headlines Show!


Carey literally shinned on the stage wearing a white mermaid gown that showed off her curves to the fullest! The dress was stunning! Silver accents through out, white feathers adorned the bust line, feathers also outlining the bottom before it fanned out to look as if it could be a wedding dress, and jewelry that would give you bling for days! If that wasn't enough glam for you even her microphone stand was blinged out!

Glam is not something to be surprised by when it comes to Mariah Carey! What did surprised me was how she kept her hair and make-up simple. Her hair was down and flowing and the makeup was natural looking, which I think made her look amazing!







The multi-platinum artist has 54 million albums sold, and has been deemed the best-selling female album artist since Nielsen SoundScan began tracking U.S. sales in 1991. Her new single #Beautiful from her 13th studio album marks her 45th Hott 100 hit! Still making waves in the music industry and looking good while doing it!

Nicole Kidman for Jimmy Choo

Nicole Kidman has been confirmed as the new face of Jimmy Choo! Jimmy Choo is best known for his high-end  handmade women's shoes. This will be the first advertisement since Sandra Choi took over as creative director at Jimmy Choo!

 

Kidman will be starring in the famous designer brand's autumn/winter 2013/2014 campaign that was shot last month by photographer Mikael Jansson.  It is said to have the "cinematic feel that hints at the power and seduction of the Jimmy Choo woman!" Though the images are currently unavailable, they are set to be released in August! They will be featured  in many fashion magazines to include: Harpers Bazaar, Vogue and Vanity Fair!

The Oscar-winning actress has previously been an ambassador for Omega Watches and Chanel No.5, along side her actress commitments, to include being a member of the prestigious jury at this year's Cannes film festival! She is keeping very busy! Her next big appearance on the big screen is playing the titular role in the biopic film, 'Grace Of Monaco'!

 

Sandra Choi told WWD, "Nicole is one of the finest actresses in the world. I knew [she] could convey the empowered glamor of the brand. But she is also so nuanced and refined; she brings an attitude of defiance, strength, sensuality and elegance." Seeing previous campaigns of Jimmy Choo and the works of the gorgeous actress, there is no argument there!

Karlie Kloss has all you Tall Women Covered

Karlie Kloss has collaborated with the denim label Frame, to create a couple pairs of jeans for taller women like herself! These jeans are made to be long in the legs with 40 inch inseams. Perfect for women who are taller and struggle to find jeans that fit in the length! What better person to do it than Karlie Kloss, she is tall and beautiful and this creation is genius!

 

 

 

Karlie saying that, "I'm freakishly tall, so finding pants that fit is something I've struggled with my whole life. My secret to pulling off too-short jeans has always been to pair them with boots and I really rocked the flood-pant trend for as long as I could! It wasn't until I started modelling at fifteen that I even realized what well-fitting clothes felt like."

 

If you are not familiar with the label Frame Denim, it was founded in 2012 by Jens Grede and Erik Torstensson. These two are behind the global fashion business, Industrie Magazine, and The Saturday Group! Both having a vision to create the perfect pair of jeans. Their influence of London Style, cut and fit was combined with the heritage of denim manufacturing in L.A. With an all star line up they have definitely made a name for themselves!

Karlie has come up with two styles of jeans one being a Flare and one being Skinny! Kloss, just like my self is not a fan of muffin top or crack-age hanging out so both pairs will feature higher waistbands! She says, "There's nothing worse than a pair of jeans that leaves you feeling exposed when you bend down!" I totally have to agree! The new Forever Karlie Flare will go for $219 and the Forever Karlie Skinny will go for $209, going on sale starting in June at stores like Barneys New York, Ron Herman, Jeffrey, and Net-A-Porter!
